itís a real FAMILY affair. A member of RJI (retail jewellers
of Ireland) and IJA (Irish jewellers association). Des the youngest
of six to James and Ellen Byrne grew up in the heart of Dublin city,
Abbey Street famous for its theatre. James worked as "lift
attendant" in the "INDEPENDENT" also on Abbey Street.
Des started in the jewellery business at 15 years as a delivery
boy for Bensons (Mary St.) and this is where he learned the jewellery
trade.

There is a $95 Charge on all wedding bands and diamond
rings which need to be exchanged or refunded as all are individually handmade.
There are no returns an any family crest jewellery.
Unfortunately we cannot accept any family jewelry back
for exchange (we will resize) or refund as all these pieces are individually
hand made and then hand engraved.

Statutory Rights
Where the goods are returned due to being faulty the
consumer is entitled, under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended), to
return the goods within a reasonable time after purchase and claim a full
refund plus any other losses that have been incurred as a direct result
of faulty goods being supplied, such as the costs of postage. Where faulty
goods are returned the refurbishment charge, and/or delivery charges cannot
be deducted from the consumers' refund.
Additionally under the new Consumer Protection (Distance
Selling) Regulations October 2000 you have the unconditional right to
cancel an order. The law says that: You must inform us within seven working
days starting with the day on which they are delivered, you must ensure
that you take reasonable care of goods and return them to us. We must
refund the money as soon as possible and at the latest within 30 days
of receiving written notice of your decision to cancel. You may only be
charged at most for the cost of returning goods.
