We strongly recommend FedEx shipping (only $21) on all
orders placed after 4th December as this is the only method of shipping
that we can guarantee delivery in time for Christmas. Registered Post
and Swiftpost from Dublin's General Post Office have a cut off point of
delivery to the US on Tuesday 5th December and to Europe on Friday 8th.
Dont be disappointed and pick FedEx and track your order online. Yours
Sincerely, Ken Byrne

Q: Where
is Des Byrne Jewellers located?
A: We are located in the heart of Dublin City, Ireland
on Bachelors Walk. Right next to the famous O'Connell Street, and around
the corner from the historic GPO (General Post Office). Unlike other on-line

in/from Ireland. Actually, for those of you who are "well up"
on your Irish history, you might find it interesting to know that if you
use Registered Post or Swiftpost (shipping) your order will actually be
posted from the GPO.

Q:
My credit card is being declined. Help!?
A: Please contact your issuing bank or use a different
credit card? We find that some transactions are refused from our end.
This is due to security measures taken by your bank as the transaction
does not fit the profile of your account (for example, if you have never
bought from Ireland before).
These problems are generally quite easy to sort. You
would need to ring you bank and let them know that you are expecting a
charge from us and they can pre-clear it so that when you try again
it goes through.

Q: What
is the difference between what is sent to the "bill to" address
and the "ship to" one?
A: If you decide to order, you will be asked to enter
an address in our "Checkout" section. Here, you have the option
to give different addresses for us to send the bill & the product
to (ideal for GIFTS). The address in the "ship to" section will
receive the product/s with some information about Irish Jewellery, and
the address in the "bill to" section will receive the credit
card receipt and also a till receipt from Des Byrne Jewellers. If you
want both packages to be sent to the same address just leave the "bill
to" section blank & both packages will then be sent separately
to the same address.

Q: Ring
Size - I am unsure what finger size I want. What do I do?
A: If you already know your size just enter it where
applicable (we can understand European, Irish and US sizes so just enter
whichever you know). But if you are unsure of your finger size we recommend
you go to your local jeweler and ask them to measure you.
We strongly recommend having your wedding finger size
measured correctly. If you order an incorrect size in wedding bands there
will be a charge of $95 as we must replace all wedding bands as they are
all individually hand made.
